Alexa Centre, one of Berlin’s largest shopping malls with 56,000 m² of retail floors, required a modernised interior signage and wayfinding system ten years after opening. The design approach respected the building’s Art Deco heritage, incorporating gold-coloured canopies, sand arches, and refined ornamental details. The system enhances spatial orientation, supports a clear circulation hierarchy, and reinforces the centre’s historical character, blending functionality with period-inspired aesthetics.
